I've had a similar idea. Absolutely!
I've heard atheists and agnostics argue how arrogant it is to believe we are the only intelligent life forms in the universe, hinting at the existence of aliens elsewhere. Being a student of the Bible, I've recognized that God goes to extremes, it seems, just for us. We are ants on a dirt hill compared to His universe, and there is no evidence Biblically and no conclusive obervations/communications that there are other humans out there. We are it.
The skeptic may say it is arrogant to think that we are the center of the universe, but God's attention is on us even in our imperfection on such a pale blue dot. What a testimony of God's love!
